Happy Ginger Day chumlies. Another end to another week. 25th of January, half way there, only 25 more rum free days left before Friday 29th of February. We can do this Melvin, oh yes.
But what's the discovery? Bananas aren't juicy.
Today's concoction in the Breville. 2 apples, one kiwi, one delightfully ripe banana. It was thick, but delicious.

I was doing protein powders with fruit in a blender at various times, and if bananas were involved I always just added a little bit of organic apple juice, just to loosen things up. Some frozen blueberries or strawberries would be good too, so it would be nice and cold.

I had a couple of Guinnesses in a pub last night after work, then tried to have a beer at home, and nearly fell asleep on the couch at 8PM! I've had two (almost) tea total weeks and I felt great, but hey, tonight is Burns Night, and I'm doing my bit for Scotland and drinking whisky. So I'm feeling even greater :-)
Also I have landed myself a new job - a potential dream job - and I have been bouncing off the walls for about two days now, screaming and hurrah'ing myself. Another good reason to drink whisky, don't you think? I will resume a healthier life again with the new job!
