One of my very favorite songs! Stop Making Sense is a fine film. Jonathan Demme did a bang-up job on that one. It's one of my "house cleaning DVDs." I turn it up very very loud and dance around the house straightening up.
When I was in the middle of a lengthy stint in hospital my brother sent me that cassette. I was in an orthopedic ward and I was the youngest by at least thirty years. Boy, did those ladies rock when I would blast Talking Heads out of my cassette deck.
Heh, cassettes, and oh by god didn't they eat the batteries. The year I got 'Thriller' I had to steal batteries out of every battery operated appliance in the house to run my tape recorder. Poor odl you for the hospital though, at least you had good musical company and a good brother.

There are so many fun and exciting things to do and experience around the world that I thought I'd put together a list of my favourite Things to do for all travelers ...

ReplyDeleteHe looks very handsome with his gray hair lately.
ReplyDeleteThey are skinny minnies, bouncy though.
