Easter weekend.
It's a warm sunny day in Dublin, heading towards a remarkable 18 degrees. At the bottom of the garden the sheets from my bed gently sway. The air is full of the smells of cut grass and flowers, the sky is blue, the birds cheep, the cats are all sprawled on the grass, belly side up. Incredibly large bumble bees are flitting about and the wood pigeons are having a bit of a do it seems. The paramour is smiling and talking about Bar-B-Cues in the same way some men talk about fast cars and loose women. I have some work to finish so I"m going to take it outside and do it there.
All is well with my little world and I hope yours is just as delightful.
Have a lovely weekend y'all.

I've just treated myself to one of those mini eggs only to realise the fekin thing was filled with brandy! I'm over the limit so I can't use the lawnmower. Ah well, I'll just have to sit here in the sun until it wears off.
I didn't take into account that you meant 18 degrees CELCIUS. I immediately thought Farenheit, and thought you were being sarcastic. It took two readings to get the gist.
I'm envious and...in need of caffeine, clearly.
Have a deLIGHTful day, dear.
A very happy Friday to you, fmc. It sounds lovely where you are.
Happy Easter. May all your baskets overflow with eggs and may all these eggs be chocolate.

Ah you paint a lovely picture.
Have a great weekend, Happy Easter!
your entry only confirms the fact that northern wisconsin is the most miserable place on earth. it is currently 12 degrees farenheit, we've got a foot and a half of snow, and there's a winter storm moving in by this afternoon.
our easter bunny is going to need some long underwear, a hefty shovel, and a snowmobile to get around in!
My daughter made uss a lovely easter card at school. It had a bunny bursting out of an egg. I'm not sure what they're teaching them in terms of biology these days.
That description just about covers it. I would join you but need to catch up on blogging and then get physical - in the garden! Happy Easter Day!
Just love your writing. Keep it up!
On an unrelated note, I just read Twenty Major's post, and I seriously can't believe that one from the Sindo who has so blatantly ripped you off. You should get on to another Sunday paper about this, for their short little bitchy snippets section. The Tribune or the Sunday Times would love this stuff.
Happy Easter, and be wary of shitty, unimaginative, bimbo journalists...
On the Sindo issue, I'd suggest most constructive route would be to ring the editor and say they have used your stuff without permission and can you have your cheque please.
God, fmc, I've just been reading what's been going on with the Sindo and the Byrne woman ripping you off. It's a disgrace. She should be taken off her desk for intellectual theft and made to apologise to you and her readers. And Copernicus - you're due a cheque for he column this week! I, for one, am sending the Sindo a letter.
You should maybe check that's all she's nicked from you. She might have been lifting stuff from your blog for ages. God, I feel all protective of you!
Hey you, Byrne woman! I know you're reading this. YOU CAN'T STEAL FMC'S STUFF AND GET AWAY WITH IT!
I meant to say Copernicus is right - about you getting her pay for this week. I think I'm still buzzing from my easter egg high.

You do realize that's a freezing winter's day here in So Cal.... I suppose it's all relative.
Shove it Birdie. It Celcius. Don't make me jealous.
Anyway, also thank to everyone who worte to me about the Twenty post, I very much appreciate the suport. Thanks a lot.
Sam, back away fromm the fudge, love, one step at a time.
Who is Sindo?
I sent you a post Pat.
