Many (not all, just many) young women are so body conscious or obsessed that exercise makes them feel worse. I know that sounds strange but I was one of those. Your skill and ease in the gym provides a great role model for healthy bodies, FMC. Don't give up.
I don't take too much notice of her complaining to be completely honest. I think teenagers feel it is obligatory to complain otherwise we adults get suspicious. She talks the ear off me whenever I invite her to go somwehere so I've got really good at nodding in all the right places. If she was quiet I'd be worried.
