I'm a bouncy, opinionated, messy haired marathon running (!) bibliophile. I wear high heels and have delightful ankles. I'm a devoted drinker. I want a French Bulldog puppy whom I shall call Batman and dress in capes on occasion. I would also like a pug, whom I shall name Mister Woo. He can remain capeless, but I will make sure he wears a diamante collar at all times. Both dogs will submit to repeated snorgling and high pitched squeals that only a dolphin would normally tolerate. I hate Reiki/psychics/mystics/frauds with all my liver. Also, I'm firmly against Jazz and poetry/poems/pomes/ peoms or any of that stuff. I believe in the healing power of ginger.

Damn right. Far too early. I went to bed at just after 4.30am after a skinful of booze and chatting half the night to an attractive lass from Khazakstan who kept insisting she was a 'bad girl' yet didn't allow me to get even vaguely mischevious. And there I was thinking Khazak girls were easy - Damn you, Borat, and all your lies! And I still had to get up at 5.45am to go to work and teach the little darlings. Good job I don't drive really, bearing in mind your earlier post.

You should get used to it if you plan on spawning. My little bastard has learned how to (almost) tell time, and he will cheerfully call out the hour from his crib as he wakes me up at 3 in the morning. You'd think that a 3-year-old that could read an analog clock could find his way to the fucking fridge, but oh, no, you'd be wrong.
Am having a few sleepless nights myself at present. The company I was working for went belly up on 29th December - all jobs lost. You may remember I blogged a while ago about a colleague with panceatic cancer - well, he was the chief, and he died at the end of Oct. leaving huge debts within the company. Whilst I'd like to make my living doing just my art work, I need to be realistic as the time, materials and selling of just one work could not keep me in shoes. Am going through a dark blue period at present as don't know what to do next. Good luck with the broody stuff!
Oh Shebah, I 'm very sorry to hear that, and so typical just when you've moved. Do you think you will stay in the same line of work? Or do something completely different-for the shoe upkeep of course.
Feast or famine with me. Either I can't sleep for weeks at a time or sleeping is all I can do. Two small children, a husband who sleeps cacophonously and an utter bastard of a wee cat bugger it up on those nights where 7 hours seems like it might just be on the cards.
