Pissing in the wind.

Honestly, that's how it feels. I got up early, went for my x-ray had it done (3 photos) sat outside for a moment, and then the lady came out and said, 'your doctor should have the results in a week to 10 days.'
WHAT? Why can't you tell me, I might have asked.
She repeated her first line and wandered off.
A week to 10 days? What about my fucking training! I wanted to yell, but there was nobody to yell at except the girl whose turn it was next. So I didn't yell. I went home instead. Then I went to the gym and in my fury knocked 2 mins 26 seconds off my 5000m row.
Which was awesome.
I"m still mad, but less so, aren't gyms the dog's bollocks.

What a gigantic pain in the tits.

That's some time reduction on the rower though.

Clearly my grandfather's 'Don't row angry, Gimme', deathbed advice was just way off the mark.

He was pulling yer leg, angry rowing seems to be the way to go. Pink/maroon face notwithstanding.

Exercise probably saves many lives in the end. Keeps you from killing people, that is.
She could have offered to let you see it, at least.

I probably wouldn't know what the hell to look for. But you're right about the exercise preventing mass murder. If that outlet wasn't there I'd be at a loss how to cope.

I once did an hour on the elliptical at its highest resistance because I was hacked off at my sister. So I'm with you guys.

I just finished a good, long sweat, effectively eliminating last night's hangover. Just in time to get started on tomorrow's! So working out has multiple uses not even considered by the health experts...

Rum cocktails would be one short term solution but then your liver will swell up. Best stick to the gym.

I"m going to watch 'as good as it gets' again and quoff wine. Seems as good way to spend a Saturday evening. Oh suburbia will be the death of me.

I need to find a gym. And a hot personal trainer. I got advice from you and Gimme in regards to the gym. Now the hot trainer. Actually I should start with an average looking trainer and as I get fitter upgrade the trainer, too. *Evil grin*
You must be one super-fit woman!

I'm doing my level best to get fitter. Look Up Crossfit.com (we're not worthy!) and have a gander at their training programme. I think it is brilliant and had really helped me in my quest to add to my fitness while I train my body to do a goddamn marathon.

I feel so angry about so many issues that I should make the Olympic team for the 1500m, no trouble!

aren't gyms the dog's bollocks?

Eh no, no they are not. Sofas and beds with lovely duvets and pillows are the dogs bollocks. Gyms are nasty scary places for people who aren't getting enough "how's your father".....

There's nothing to fear, Manuel.

Those stunningly toned, sleek ladies and massive pimply boys won't bite, you know.
In fact, they're much too busy building the body beautiful to even take the time to laugh.

You are right about the duvets, though. In fact, there such be more duvet based exercise machines.

Gap in the market, gap in the market!

The Minute Minder is right, we're kind folk, obsessed but kind. Althought I save a goodly deal of my affection for duvets too.
eee, I have Belgium beer to hand, g'night.

There's a coincidence, I did some real rowing (a boat on water) over the weekend, and I've not a blister to show for it. I must be doing something wrong.
