G'day Steve, you were fun to watch.

Poor old Steve the crocodile Hunter has gone to meet his maker. http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,20349888-2,00.html
Poor dude, and his poor wife and kids.

Yep, just read about that. It seems it's a pretty rare thing to get barbed by a sting-ray. He was hellish unlucky. That's a real shame - he was a great bloke; a real character and so enthusiastic about wildlife you couldn't help but like him, despite that accent.

Yeah, poor Steve&his family.
I agree with your comments.
He actually drove me nuts with his "crikey" - a few years back I had to promote "Crocodile Hunter" and I wanted to tear my hair and scream, I was so agitated I wanted to hit somebody. Hard.
But. Today I was very sad to read about his death. He had great ideals, and being a bit "showbiz" about it I guess did the job - he got attention.
May he rest in peace.
