Many large mammals allow birds pick the Ticks off them. Water Buffalo are a classic example.

after a long hot run/ride/brick, i often plop in the nearby stream. it's not an ice bath, but it's sumthin. i can sit for as long as it takes the leetle fish to gather the nurve to start nibbling at me, and then i get out. it is not a pleasant experience IMO. not my bag.
Finn is it just some random stream in the middle of nowhere?
